The Plugin works really great in my local machine, but it’s not working on the Amazon EC2 instance. Instead of using the shortcodes to display the feed, it just displays the raw shortcode “[custom-facebook-feed]” on my website. I am using the free version.

Could someone please help me as soon as possible on this issue, I tried to look through the internet but I couldn’t find anything and I am a newbie to WordPress. Thanks in advance!

    Hey april20,

If you’re only seeing the shortcode text like that then it usually means one of two things:

    1) The plugin isn’t activated
    2) Your theme doesn’t actually support shortcodes in the area of your site where you’re using the shortcode

Could you check whether either of the above are true? Also, if you can send me a link to the site then I’d be happy to take a look.

    Hey smashballoon,

Thanks for the quick reply, It was a silly mistake, I was trying with different FB plugins, so activated different plugin and used different shortcodes. It works fine now, Thanks!
