I have the items “Customize”, “Header” and “Background” filtered under the Appearance menu, but they still show up and I’ve had to add functions to filter these. Any way to get the plugin to work the way it’s supposed to so I can, perhaps, count this as one of my “go to” plugins when building a client site? Thanks!

  • Hi heather_m_schiefer,

With those three menus WordPress goes way out of any standards and it is really confusing for us to understand the logic behind it.

To keep it short, make sure your User Role or User does not have capability “Edit Theme Options” (uncheck it on Capabilities tab).

Thank you for your interest in AAM.
