• I know this has been brought up here before, but I thought I’d mention it again so the devs would know that people are still interested in this feature. I’ll even give a couple of examples:

    a) I have a category called “Website News” where I post stuff about server maintenance, reboots, planned downtime, etc. With “Publicize” this gets posted to Facebook and Twitter, even though I don’t really want it there. I have to manually delete such tweets and posts from my FB feed. So I’d like to exclude all “Website News” posts from Publicize.

    b) I use a plug-in called Instagrabber which periodically scrapes my Instagram feed, adding new Instagram photos as posts in WP. But I already post the pictures to FB via the Instagram app. I prefer to post the photos on FB that way because they go into my “Instagram Pictures” album, instead of getting lost on my timeline as a WP link. Also, direct Instagram posts are prettier in Facebook (the entire picture is displayed, rather than a thumbnail as a WP post). What’s worse, Instagrabber scrapes my feed at random times twice a day, so if I post a picture on Instagram, the duplicate WP post might not come for 6-12 hours, which annoys my friends. So I’d also like to exclude all “Instagram” posts from Publicize.
