When you reactivated Jetpack, did you also reconnect to WordPress.com?
This bug may have been fixed in Jetpack 1.8.1, which is now available at http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/jetpack/
Make sure that you have the Stats module active and that you’ve reconnected to WordPress.com.
I was never given the option to reconnect… I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin and nothing. I logged into my wordpress.com and it shows zero stats for the last 4 or 5 days (since it has stopped working). Is there a way to manually force a reconnect to wordpress.com?
UPDATE: 1.8.1 was not showing on my dashboard as an update. I deactivated Jetpack. Re-activated it and there was the option to upgrade from 1.8 to 1.8.1 and stats have returned
Since the latest update (to 1.8) I have found that I am getitng a STATS UNAVAILABLE TRY LATER error messgae
Since the latest update (to 1.8) I have found that I am getitng a STATS UNAVAILABLE TRY LATER error messgae
I got exactly the same problem.
Missed this… but how do I make sure the “stats module” is active. I don’t see any options for anything or to setup anything in jetpack.
My stats have disappeared too.
Could you try updating to the latest version of the plugin, Jetpack 1.8.1. A fix has now been released, and your Stats should be available again.
Thanks, after the update the stats are available again.
Updated with latest version & stats are back! Thanks.
Still missing and stats are not logging. Checked wordpress.com and I’ve had no stats now for over a week… I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling… no option to reconnect to wordpress or anything.
Figured out the issue.
Found this thread.

I enabled the default 2011 theme. Then deactivated and reactivated jetpack and then all of a sudden I had that bar on the top that asked me to reconnect to wordpress.com.
Then I reactivated my current theme and site stats were available again.
Hope this helps someone else!
i tried all these things, still nothing working, getting furious….
@dylanvogel If you still experience issues, could you please start a new thread, and let us know your site URL so we can have a look at the issue?
Thank you.
