[Plugin: Jetpack] Publicize concerns / Issues

I’m having issues getting Jetpack to “Connect” to any form of site, the receiving site is aware of the connection. But my server is not. I’m in concern that my website’s status of being on the spamhaus. (Do to being home hosted, and more or less a personal project of mine) Is impeding me through this.

But I have found no confirming information to relate, and to help me understand this.

I also had to turn off some wordpress functionality, through a plugin called Core Control, to get Jetpack to even connect to ww.wp.xz.cn/com or whatever it was trying to connect to.

I’m not sure, is there some sort of functionality, the server is mandated to have? Is there any configuration that I can fix? Or is it based on the server’s hosted location? I’m well aware what kind of limitation that impedes upon me.

Anywya, any information/feedback would be helpful. I’m still learning the wordpress framework/engine whatever you want to call it, as opposed to my own personal solutions. So don’t throw tomatoes at me.
