    yea, same error upon activation as well. anyone encounter something similar?

    ok, well it’s simply a syntax error.

    go into your ftp file editor, go to line 658, and erase the & in the line
    foreach ( $wp_posts as &$item )

    i don’t know how to mark this to resolved, otherwise i would.

    Thank you so much, dankfresh, that did it!!! I can mark the topic resolved. It’s a dropdown box on the right “This topic is…” I made that edit and it fixed it right up.

    Thanks for making this importer – it will really help 🙂

    I imported a category ok into wp but the url showed a similar error for posts for that previously reported.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/site/public_html/wp-content/themes/themename/single.php on line 19

    I looked at my single php file and there was no extra < in line 19 but I had a plugin script in there so I removed that and my posts now display
