    Hi,
I installed the plugin a couple of months ago while I was designing my website. It worked as intended but suddenly stopped working. Unfortunately I don’t remember what I did to the site that made it stop working. I just thought that I should solve the problem after moving the testsite to the new server.

I’ve gone through a lot of the posts here to find a solution but whatever I do the plugin doesn’t work. All I know is that it seems to load(?). I would be very happy if some tech heads could check http://193.27.192.155/04/mantova/ (or any other pages on the site for that matter…) and see if they find out what’s wrong. The content is all jumbled since I stripped the site down to one of the default themes and very few plugins. If you click on one of the images the colorbox plugin doesn’t work – no matter what kind of preferences I’m using. It just shows a new page with the image. I tried to reinstall the plugin three times – no difference…

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,
what you see there is the default behaviour of the WordPress Gallery which opens a “detail” page when you click on the image.
You’ll have to set the gallery to link to the images instead.

    Thank you for your reply.

I’m not using any galleries so there’s no place I can edit those settings. I tried making a standard WordPress Gallery now and the plugin doesn’t work with it either. I tried both of the first plugin settings.

    Hi,
well, on the page you linked in your initial post, the links on the thumbnails do not point to full resolution images, but to an attachment page, for example:
    http://193.27.192.155/?attachment_id=3360

    See

Aha! Now I see what’s happened. At some time we must have clicked the “Attachment Post URL” (without knowing it) when inserting a new picture – and then this setting has been stuck (I tried to see if it did).

I certainly hope there’s a plugin or anything that can help to change this since we’re using 4452 images on the site… Oh, well.

Thanks for your time and help! Much appreciated!

(I’ll post a follow-up if I find a solution to fix this without doing it manually on every post).
