[Plugin: kPicasa Gallery] Album Sorting

    Just installed your plugin and I think it’s great. One question…is there a way to sort the way albums appear? For example, on my page, I want the albums of my son to appear in the order I list them in the shortcode – KPICASA_GALLERY(babyalbum1,babyalbum2,babyalbum3)

    Instead, they are appearing babyalbum2, babyalbum1, babyalbum3. I can’t figure out what order this is supposed to be, the way they show up on Picasa doesn’t match the way they show up on my blog page, and trying to sort them in Picasa by album date, upload date, or title don’t match, either.

    Please let me know. If this isn’t a current feature, please consider manual sorting options on future releases…thanks.

    Hi,

    The albums should be displayed in the same order as on the Picasa website. They are displayed in the same order as kPicasa Gallery receives it from Picasa. I’ll have to look into this.

    Was this sorting issue ever resolved? I resorted to creating separate pages for each album with an index page showing the albums in the order I require.

    As mentionned in my original post, kPicasa Gallery is only displaying the albums in the same order as they are received from Google. You would have to ask Google if you receive them in the wrong order.
