This seems a pretty old post. Anyway I will write about it. My motivation is more academic but with a pragmatic view, in a sense that I want to achieve a high quality plugin and ready for production. I’m already using it in my blog.
After a huge refactor, fixing a lot of wrong html tags and reorganizing the code, I needed a few iterations to be comfortable with it.
This is a non trivial plugin and I want it easy to hack and modify. Also, I will add some custom fields and improve the performance as much as I can.

yeah, I had a problem with the forums, I was caught by Akismet without reason, so some old threads have appeared again now, and some other were lacking the proper tag to be associated with the correct plugin.
will mark it as solved.
