[Plugin: List category posts] list category posts with changing category ids?

Hallo,
I’ve got a problem with cahnging category id numbers. I use the numbers rather than verbal IDs, because mine are rather long (containing spaces, also). Howwever, if I rename a category (if only mending a typo), the number changes and the link is broken.

Any ideas how to avoid this?
