I believe I am encountering this same issue with this Plugin.
SAME STEPS:
1. Clicked Settings | Clear Cache | Clear Webinar Cache button.
2. Clicked the Settings | General Options | Click here to connect with my GoToWebinar Application button.
SAME RESULT:
Restores functionality for a day and then fails again.
WordPress Version: 6.4.3
Plugin Version: 15.2
Server running PHP version: 8.1.25.
MySQL version: 8.0.34-0ubuntu0.22.04.1
Hi Everyone,
I will need to look into this and see if I can repeat the issue on my end.
Thanks,
Experiencing the same issue even though the webinar app is already connected. The webinar is not displaying on the frontend, and you need to reconnect and refresh the page to see the webinars again
Hello,
I’m experiencing the same issue on both versions 15.1 and 15.2. I lose the connection, and during this period, users attempting to register encounter an error and the log is displaying “Attendee limit reached.” Once I reconnect my own application, the problem is resolved, but only for around 24 hours.
PHP Version: 8.1.23
WordPress Version: 6.4.3
Plugin Version: 15.1 & 15.2
Application Used: Own Application
Hi Everyone,
I appreciate all your reports, but if anyone else is experiencing this, there’s no need to say anything, as this just further reduces my availability to fix the issue. So far, I have not been able to repeat the issue with a connection dropout on my end with the latest version so more testing is needed. It’s critical that I can repeat the issue, as without being able to repeat the issue, I can’t see what is truly going on. So please be patient as I try to fix.
@thibauteche regarding the attendee limit being reached, please check over your webinar settings in GoToWebinar and check this isn’t set to a low number.
Hi everyone,
I have released a new version of the plugin then. Please don’t get too excited, there’s a fair chance it won’t solve the issue, but I am hoping it might as this is certainly the intent. So please try the update, once installed, please re-connect again by clicking the connect button on the “General Options” tab and see how the reliability goes.
Please note, it is now my general recommendation to use our application as oppose to using your own application. So if you are having issue and you are using a custom application, I recommend clearing out the settings for the “GoToWebinar Consumer Key/Secret” fields, saving the settings, refreshing the page, and then click the “CLICK HERE TO CONNECT WITH GOTOWEBINAR” button. Thanks,
Over night the plugin didn’t lose the connection, if it’s working till monday then i guess it’s fixed.
Hi @jcbecode,
Thanks for the update 🙂
Hi @northernbeacheswebsites,
i checked it on the website of my customer and the plugin didn’t lose the connection.
It’s fixed.
Confirming that is is also fixed on my end. Cheers!
Fantastic, great to hear 🙂
