[Plugin: Mailchimp for WordPress] v2.2.2 Installed & Hacked?

    I installed Mailchimp for WordPress v2.2.2 on my blog just two weeks ago.

    No other plugins have been uploaded, activated or modified since.

    My site has now been hacked.

    I’ve removed the offending files, changed passwords etc. but wondered if this plugin has something to do with it.

    It seems to be widely used, with a very high rating so I’m skeptical?!
