Hey there, Penny!
I couldn’t find the plugin on your page that you provided, however, it sounds like you’re trying to add these people to a group in your list? Unfortunately, our plugin doesn’t offer a way to add these people to a group, automatically. However, you could use our embedded form to do something similar! We have an article in our Knowledge Base about tracking where your subscribers sign up from (based on a hidden field in your list that you manually populate), but the same basic process can be applied to groups as well. It requires a little elbow grease and some minor coding, but here’s the nitty gritty:
Can I set up my signup form so that I can see where my recipients signed up?: http://eepurl.com/SKbn
Using this method, you could edit the form so that it automatically checks the group for them to be apart of and is totally hidden from view.
If we can assist with anything else, feel free to give us a shout!
Cheers

I removed the form after talking wiht people at Mailchimp. They said I need to embed the code. I’m new to WordPress but a seasoned web developer. How do I get to the Sidebar code?
Is this the best solution? or am I chasing my tail?
For what you’re wanting to do, this does sound like the best solution, as the plugin doesn’t offer this specific flexibility. For generating the embed form, check out this link from our Knowledge Base:

Combine that with the article that was posted above, and you should be ready to rock and roll!
