[Plugin: MailChimp Widget] API call failing

Hi everyone,

I am trying to install the MailChimp plugin to my site. I set the api key correct, installed the widget in the sidebar correct, but when I try to sign up, the api call fails. When I look at the API section in MailChimp the API is being called, but it just fails all the time.

Anyone has any idea how I can fix this?
