Plugin Management Not Updating

    I just upgraded to 2.3 using Instant Upgrade and now have post2cat errors which I understand might because of non-compatibly plugins such as Google Site Maps.

    I have deleted several plugins from my directory – they still show in the Plugin Management.
    I have upgraded to Google SiteMaps 3 (latest version), but 2.71 still shows.

    Any idea what I need to do/ fix/ change?
