Plugin Menu overwriting theme menu item

I am using a child theme of the the Genesis theme and when I activate your plugin it overwrites the slider plugin that comes with the theme. This means that if I want to edit my slides I have to deactivate your plugin.

Is there any way to alter the code so that it doesn’t show up over the top of my slides tab which is right under posts?

The reason I asked is because we had planned on using your software and your services to customize it. I discussed some customizations with Rahul back in the end of October.
