Hi @gerryg001,
It sounds like the recent Bluehost maintenance update may have affected how the Super Page Cache for Cloudflare plugin loads in your admin area. Let’s start with a quick check:
- Deactivate and reactivate the plugin in your WordPress dashboard. This often fixes cases where plugin files or hooks fail to load correctly after an update.
- If that doesn’t help, please check your server’s error log (you can usually find it in your hosting control panel or ask Bluehost support to share the entries). Look for any recent PHP errors or warnings that appear when you try to access the plugin’s dashboard or Settings pages. Please share those details here so we can identify what’s causing the blank screens.
This type of issue often comes from a PHP or permission conflict introduced during a server update, and the log will help narrow it down quickly.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks for the quick reply. I tried de/re-activate plugin first thing, but no joy.
This will take some time, as Bluehost “improved” their site since I was last there (year or so). The cpanel error link doesn’t appear to work anymore. In WP admin, the SiteHealth no longer works; seems to be stuck on scanning directories. They added a Bluehost menu to WPadmin, but all entries there are also blank. I would go in via ssh, but they broke that also. We’ll see what today brings…
Okay, all fixed. With missing menus I had first checked php version, but with WPadmin and ssh both broken, I had to go to cpanel. Now, after I fixed ssh, I saw they ran some Newfold Htaccess Manager which edited my .htaccess, AND set the php version to 8.3 and removed the Wordfence addition. Fixing that, Super Page Cache loads and runs just fine.
Hi @gerryg001,
I am glad to hear you got it working.
