Hi Mat, you are trying to load the “Frontpage Slideshow” slideshow using the title of the slideshow, make sure you use the slug, “frontpage-slideshow”, instead of the title.
Same question – I’m working on a template from Themeforest and I’m sure there’s some wonderful conflict somewhere. I tried turning off the home page slider but the Meteor slider still wouldn’t work. This should be the only active plug-in I have, slides have names and they’re published..what else..maybe it’s some of the Widgets. Don’t know where to start to troubleshoot from here with my limited skills but maybe you can give a clue.

Hi Kati, it looks like only the stylesheet for Meteor Slides is being loaded, none of the JavaScript. I think your theme must be removing it or breaking it when adding its JavaScript.
Just to confirm that it is a theme issue, I would try switching to the default theme and testing the slideshow.
