[Plugin: Meteor Slides] slide upload page is broken

i went to add some new slides and the ‘set featured image’ page opens without an exit button to return to the ‘add slides’ page. i simply can’t get back to the wp admin area. this has never happened before today. i tried re-installing the latest version of wp. i suppose i’ll delete meteor and re-install it. any thoughts on this?
