[Plugin: More Fields] Files and Files with Thumbnails

    I’m a bit confused as how to set up Files and Files with Thumbnails. I assumed that they would automatically be connected to the media library. Thought I’d be able to search media library for files.

    Files created an empty dropdown with a button next to it that says “Update List” If I press it, it does nothing.

    Files with Thumbnails created a dropdown that says “Reload to list files” What does that mean?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I use More Fields in a bunch of WP installs, and had the same issue as you.

    Since it seems the developers have moved on, I decided to try my hand at fixing some of these bugs.

    To prevent any plugin confusion, I make a fork of More Fields on GitHub.

    Anyway, I think I fixed both File List and File List Thumb views. If you try my fork, please let me know what you think.

    Hey Danno, came across this plugin and your updates and I think it’ll help satisfy a client of mine, but I’m still getting the “reload to list files” message in the drop down after updating using the fork. I’m not sure what info you might need from me to help troubleshoot, but I’d appreciate any help.

    Are you sure you’ve loaded the code from GitHub? You will actually have to download the code and copy it over the More Fields that is already in your plugins folder.

    @danno040, it works for me. I’ve also added your project to my watch list. This plugin is a lifesaver for some clients of mine, and I couldn’t be bothered to write the metaboxes inside another plugin or hardcode them into the function.
