[Plugin: Multilingual Press] Translation Does Not Work

I have just installed a new multisite WP test site.

I created two sites, one called ‘es’ the other ‘en’ so my structure looks like this:

mysite.com/public/es
mysite.com/public/en

In my settings I have chosen Spanish for the es site and English for the en site. I then ticked the Multilingual blog relationships option.

Now when I look at my sites in my Network Admin es and en show they are interlinked.

Now I create a simple post and a simple page in en – they are copied as drafts to es and I publish them.

So it all looks great but when I go to mysite.com/public/es/mypage its all in English – no translation occurs.

Can you tell me what I did wrong?
