[Plugin: Multiple Post Thumbnails] return additional thumbnail data instead html

Dear Chris Scott, thanks for this plugin, it works great and gives me great freedom designing blog layouts.
But it seems to me it lacks a feature for themes developers: a method for retrieve data as object or array instead of pre-coocked html.
What do you think about it?
