Hi @josklever,
Thank you for creating this thread and for your suggestion regarding the plugin name change. We value our customers’ feedback and reviews, and based on your input, we have changed the plugin name.
Thanks and regards,
You’ve only shortened the description a little from:
Pixel Tag Manager for WooCommerce – All-in-One Tracking Solution for Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and More Pixels
to:
Pixel Tag Manager for WooCommerce – Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and More Pixels
Instead it should just be something like:
Pixel Tag Manager for WooCommerce
Hi @josklever,
I agree with your suggestion to remove “Google Analytics 4” and “Google Ads.” However, I want to explain why I initially included these terms. Including them helps users quickly identify these features on the plugin search page, enhancing visibility in both WordPress and Google search results.
However, I request that you please accept this name for now.
If you would like to remove those words from the display on the WordPress admin plugin list page, I can do that.
The plugin name should be the name only. In the description you can explain what it does. And then you have the rest of the readme to give a detailed description.
If you try to game the system by keyword stuffing, you risk closure of the plugin and a full review by the plugins team.
Hi,
I will change the plugin name for the admin side. also, I will discuss with my team for plugin name and content.
