[Plugin: Networks for WordPress] subdirectory problem with multisite/networks for wordpress
-
I have a fresh install of wordpress multisite, set up to use subdirectories, not subdomains.
All things like .htaccess are configured, the relevant definitions removed from the wp-config.php file etc etc
I create a new network with a path of /network/, that works fine. But when I add a site to the network, if I do this from a dashboard outside the intended network and then move the site into the intended network (i.e. the first parent network) using the ‘assign sites’ utility, the site is given a path of /network/sitename. This doesn’t seem to work, lots of broken file links, broken theme etc. (doesn’t seem to be able to find the files, as well as various other things) Should it be capable of assigning such a path or is it wrong to assign such a path to the site in the first place?
When I add a site when logged into the intended network, the url is made just /sitename and the network name doesn’t form part of the url. Is this the correct behaviour?
