[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Adding Caption to Image once clicked

Is there a simple way to have the caption or description of an image show once it is clicked and expanded? This use to just show automatically but once I added the NextGen Gallery Optimizer it went away. I also have the Custom Fields plugin but don’t know how to get the fields to show only when the image is clicked on.
