[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Import Description from EXIF?

I would like to add descriptions to my images in the EXIF data and have them appear in the “Description” field for the image when looking at the manage gallery view.

Is this possible? I have experimented with several EXIF tags and cannot find any that produce this behavior. If I use ImageDescription, the text is displayed when I click on “Meta” for the image under the EXIF section, but that text is not used in the Description field.

Is the behavior I want possible, or would I have to modify the PHP code (which I would prefer not to do simply because I don’t want to make the changes every time I upgrade the plugin).
