[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Inconsistent behavior across browsers

I’m having an issue with how my page displays in different browsers but I haven’t been able to find any consistency that might explain the problem.

1) I have a 5px gray border around the slideshow on my [url=http://www.epicimagesonline.com/]Home[/url] page. It displays fine in Firefox on my primary laptop at home but in IE8 it doesn’t display at all. When I’m on my desktop at the office it doesn’t display in Firefox but does display in IE8. On my wife’s laptop it does not display in Firefox but does display in IE8. ???

2) On my [url=http://www.epicimagesonline.com/portfolio/]Portfolio[/url] page I have the link style set up to display links in gray text, changing to blue on a mouse-over. On my primary laptop all the links display correctly except for one (Fashion & Glamor) in Firefox. In IE8 only two display correctly but one of them is Fashion & Glamor. On my wife’s laptop the display mirrors the IE8 display in both Firefox and IE8. In the office none of the me display properly in Firefox and in IE8 the display is the same as on the two laptops. In each instance where the display is off the text and mouse-over text is black. ???

I’ve tried everything that has worked for in the past with anomalies like this. I’ve regenerated my shortcuts, re-edited my pages and galleries and re-saved, double-triple-quadruple checked my styles. I don’t get it. It just doesn’t make sense.

Any ideas?
