[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] problems constructing galleries
-
Hi, I’m a relative newcomer to wordpress & nextgen gallery…I’ve wrestled with settings to try and get gallery construction consistent…
If I use the flash upload I get nowhere… error message as below…and no image uploaded.Directory /web1/user…../website/wordpress/wp-content/gallery/15-1721 contains no pictures
If I disable the flash upload then I get this error
Error, the file permissions could not be setIf I then go and scan for new thumbnails in gallery it creates them OK but the edit thumbnail/view metadata options aren’t available. (just an empty box pops up).
The web1 start to the directory address is something I’m not sure about …maybe something to do with my server…above the folders I see in my ftp window..
I find some of these symptoms in other posts but none exactly the same …I’ve tried several suggested solutions with no success.
(changing themes, upgrading, etc)I contacted my host and their comment was
