[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] slideshow is not working

Hi,
I see someone else just posted a similar question but well, I have a similar problem. On my new site that I am working on (wp 2.9.2), a NextGen Gallery works fine but a slideshow using the same gallery does not.

The slideshow is supposed to be above the Next Gen Gallery but nothing appears. In the back are: [slideshow id =1] and [nggallery id =1]

Why? Any help is much appreciated! I have used the slideshow on another site and I like it a lot!
