[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery Voting] Nextgen Gallery Voting Problem

    Hi,

    sorry for my bad English, but I’m from Germany. Hope you can understand me…

    Ive downloaded the NextGEN Gallery and the Voting plugin and installed both. Ive edited the gallery.php and added the one line – like it is discribed in the FAQ!
    When I view a page with a gallery, the images and the stars are displayed. But when I klick on a star to vote, this text is displayed:
    „There was a problem saving your vote, please try again in a few moments“

    So the error must be somewere in the ajax-request. But I cant solve it. Please help me.

    Hi KonBirdy

    Can you turn W3 Total Cache off and try again. I think there is an issue with AJAX and the caching plugin.

    Let me know if that works or not. And don’t worry, your English is perfect.

    Some minutes ago I had the time to analyse the code a bit and saw in the javascript that the response is limited by HTML-Comments.
    I remembered, that I turned off the Comments in W3 Total Cache.
    At this point I looked in this thread again and saw, that you posted the same several minutes ago 🙂

    I turned off the Comments in W3 Total Cache and now it works!
