[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] What about the thumbnails?

Version 1.4.3
A super gallery, but what has happened to the chance to edit the viewable area of the thumbnails? This was particularly useful, and now I find that the thumbs I upload look a bit daft.
Any help on this would be gratefully received.
