Plugin not compatible with Salient theme version 8.0

As stated in the title. I am using the salient theme version 8.0 (as seen here: https://themeforest.net/item/salient-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4363266). The plugin does not seem to be compatible with this version of the theme. The two did work together in the past. The problem is none of the options / checkboxes show up in the “sidebar location” window.
Any help appreciated!

Can you make sure that you checked “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” on theme Sidebars as shown on the screenshot
