We are trying to make the basic version of the plugin work on our soap shop. Many items weigh 6 oz., and measure 4x1x3 inches. We ship them using the FIRST-CLASS PACKAGE SERVICE, and the post office charges $3.75 for this. We have several issues.

When we select “offline rates”, the FIRST-CLASS PACKAGE SERVICE rate is not given. If we select “click-n-pay”, we get an option called “First Class Mail (USPS)”, but the rate is $2.92.

Turning on debug, it appears that regardless of whether we ask for offline or click-n-pay rates, the USPS is returning the correct rate of $3.75 for FIRST-CLASS PACKAGE SERVICE. The plugin is simply not using it, even though we have put a checkmark next to this option in our settings.

Instead, the $2.92 rate that the plugin is showing appears to come from several similar but different rates, e.g., “FIRST-CLASS™ PACKAGE SERVICE”, which may be a commercial rate.

How do we get this plugin to do what we are asking it to do, and return the correct offline rate of $3.75?

    Thank you

Actually, we just upgraded to premium, and now first class rates do not appear at all. We have weights and dimensions on each product. Do we need to set up Shipping Classes? Or…? Other rates are showing up fine… just not the one we typically use. Thanks!

    Hi,

Please raise a ticket in Online support so that I can check the issue,

You can try selecting the rates preference to Retail rates to get the retail rates, and make sure you have the WebtoolsID in the username field in the plugin settings.
