Thank you for the system report. I can see that the gift card plugin is installed and active.

Since it is not working, this means another plugin is crashing before all plugins are loaded.

You can check the PHP Error Log to see if there are any messages:

1. Log into your FTP site and edit wp-config.php
2. Set the following values (add the lines if they don’t exist):

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
    @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

3. Return to the site and refresh the admin area.
4. Now go back to FTP and get the log file /wp-content/debug.log
5. Return to wp-config.php and set DEBUG back to false (reverting the changes made in Step 2)

Alternatively, disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and the PW Gift Cards plugin. Then start re-enabling other plugins one-by-one until the gift cards menu disappears.

Once we find the culprit we can dig in further.

I do not see any entry in debug.log file related to your plugin. There are many from other plugins. As I stated above:
“I disabled all plugins but WooCommerce and yours. I deleted all code from functions, I removed all css styling and it did not help.”
It looks like the menu in admin has not correct permission set for administrator.

Make sure the administrator has the “Shop Manager” role that comes with WooCommerce. If you see the “Products” menu and the “WooCommerce” menu, then it has the correct permissions.

Yes, administrator can see WooCommerce and Products menu. I switched to a user in “Shop Manager” role but it did not help.

Can you switch the WordPress site language to English to see if perhaps there is something in the translation that is causing the problem?

I tried it and it did not help. I have a major problem with it: A customer wants to get refund and I am not able to delete a gift card code of his.

Hmm. I am not sure what else to try since you have switched Themes and disabled all but WooCommerce and the Gift Card plugin, there isn’t much else that could be preventing this except for possibly “mu” (must-use) plugins installed by your website host. Unfortunately it sounds like our plugin will not be compatible with your site.

You could delete a gift card from the database by setting the “active” field to 0.

There are two tables used to store the gift card information:

wp_pimwick_gift_card
Stores the card number, expiration date, active flag, etc.

wp_pimwick_gift_card_activity
This table contains the transaction log to record loading and redeeming the card. Columns include activity date, action, amount, and note.

Note: it is assumed your site prefix is “wp_” (the default) however the table names may be slightly different depending on how your system is configured.
