Plugin not showing stats in wordpress

Hi

I have installed piwik and wp-piwik. Piwik works 100% for recording site stats (e.g. time of visits, which pages visited, operating system, location etc.) and I can view the stats fine at the mywebsite.com/piwik page

However in the wordpress plugin all the values appear as zero, except for the graph on the left. This seems strange, as the graph shows visits have occured, yet on the right it says there have been zero visits (conflicting information). Here is what is looks like:
