Ugh, not ideal at all! Very sorry to hear that.
It’s a 7 min video, but I go over setting up and testing auto-updates in detail.
Any chance you can give it a quick view and try it out on one of the sites that didn’t auto update?

Hi Ronald
Same issue here. I watched your video (you need a better mic 😉 ). In the video you use Securi plugin to run the updates. How do we do that if we don’t use Securi?
Thanks for your time.
Sorry abiut the mic 🙂 – I’ll redo the video when I can afford another headset (I broke my last one).
As far as Sucuri (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/sucuri-scanner/), I haven’t been able to find a plugin that does the same thing, but if you find one, please let me know.
As with most cron issues, the mail culprit can be nobody is visiting the site, so no cron is ever run. I’ve heard Jetpack’s site ping tool can help with this.
Another culprit is the host has disabled WordPress’ cron.
Please let me know if you find a solution!
OK… this will be the problem. This is a dev site that never get visited.
No worries with the mic – awesome support!
I’ll see if I can get this to work with Jetpack’s site ping tool.
I’ve installed Jetpack and enables “Monitor” . I’ll see what happens over the next few days.
NB: Sorry for hijacking your thread silverlight001, hopefully this is helping you also.
You can also consider setting up crontab and disabling WP’s cron. Basically a server pinging itself.
