I upgraded WP to version 4.8 and plugin to version 1.4.4.
After that the plugin stopped displaying on the page in the form of a carousel, now all slides are immediately displayed in the column.

Hi,

We see that the issue is with the latest WordPress 4.8 text widget. Use a plain text widget plugin to use the carousel shortcode.
