Sunrise copied to wp-content. wp-config edited adding define(‘SUNRISE’, on); just above very last require_once statement. However, when I attempt to enter domain mapping under network admin, all I get is this:Please edit your /home/leatherneck/public_html/ln_tech/wp-config.php and move the line define( ‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’ ); above the last require_once() in that file or make sure you updated sunrise.php.

I have done these. I’ve gone through installation and deleted all old artifacts from previous installs and then tried to completely remove and re-install.At my wits end. Any other suggestions as to what might be preventing this from working. I know its reading my changes because if I move the sunrise file the statement above changes. I’ve tried placing the define statement at different locations. I’ve tried moving the sunrise file around. Nothing seems to work. We’ve used this successfully over and over again in our other networks but on this network it just will not work. Other than completely rebuilding everything, any suggestions for what else might work?

You do not need domain mapping in new installs. You can edit the site URL directly in Network Admin -> Sites -> Edit Site.
