    Hi,

    At first the plugin worked as expected, but then issues started popping in:
    – new user registered on the website – no e-mail notification;
    – new user registered on the website – data is missing in the User profile for the fields he has entered;

    In general when I do testing it works, but then users in the database start appearing and no data in their profile for the fields they have entered and no e-mail notification.

    Please advise if this problem has been observed in the past.

  • Hi @thesickle,

    There are chances that the emails are going to the spam section of your mail. Please check and confirm whether you are getting the mails there.
    Also, sometimes there are issues with the default mailing system which results in emails not being delivered. Please make sure that your WordPress is sending emails. You can test it using an e-mail testing plugin.
    If everything seems working and you are still not getting emails then I suggest you use an SMTP plugin which will resolve your email delivering issues.

    Regarding your second query, Could you please explain a little more to make it more clear. Maybe you can also provide me some screenshots so that I can understand it better. It would help me to debug your issue.

    Do let us know and we will get back to you.
    Regards!

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for the reply, indeed on the e-mail you are correct this was part of the problem and after checking with my hosting there was also some complication on their end, this should be resolved now.

    Regarding the database, it was an issue due to theme updates, we disabled registration with wp-login.php in the functions.php file [for anyone interested in the solution click here], but after an update that restriction got scrapped and users could register from the login form, from there we got the accounts with missing fields that were mandatory in the registration form.

    Thank you, should be all good now.
