Plugin not working, action hook not firing

I just installed this plugin and it does not seem to be working. I have checked my settings. I have looked over the code and it seems that the main function is not firing. When I post comments, the ‘save_post’ action hook does not seem to be called, and so the ‘process_topic_option’ method is not run as far as I can tell. Has anyone experienced this issue? Has anyone updated bbPress and WordPress to the latest versions and had no issues? Thanks.
