Plugin not working for me :(

Hi,
I’ve installed the plugin but I cannot get it working when I insert the code in theme/index.php
I have inserted the nex code in order to see if it’s working:

<?php the_post(); if(function_exists(‘the_views’)) { the_views(); echo”FUNCTION EXISTS”;} echo”TEST WP-POSTRATINGS”; ?>

But it seems the function(‘the_views’) does not exist (example: http://buyopinium.com/v1/bmw-125/ ).

The plugin is working if I insert the embed code on the page (example: http://buyopinium.com/v1/scott-r4/ ).

Can anyone help me?
