Also is there a way to test the plugin without posting to twitter?

Please check the following settings,
- ‘Enable auto publish posts to my twitter account’ is set to ‘Yes’
- ‘Publish wordpress
posts to twitter’ is set to ‘Yes’
- ‘Auto publish on creating posts/pages/custom post types’ is ‘Enabled’.
If ‘Select post categories for auto publish’ is set to ‘specific,’ please ensure that the specified category is assigned to the post you want to auto-publish.
You can test this functionality on the dummy site at https://tastewp.com/new/?pre-installed-plugin-slug=twitter-auto-publish, but please note that the posts will only be published if you correctly configure the app settings.
