Please share a link to a post having trouble.
Hey, You can checkout this link which is having the issue.
The plugin TOC had an update available which i also did but still same issue and no change.
So, are the only pages not working are the Amazon affiliate page? The real pages are working fine? If that is the case, how is the Amazon affiliate content populating the pages?
I do not understand what real pages means?
There are other affiliate pages as well on which Table of Contents is showing….It’s just that I am facing trouble on four posts which are not showing the TOC.
The posts which are added recently are having issues.
Ok, looking at the site, it seemed from my random browsing that the pages that are not affiliate pages are working fine (ex. the “Pickleball Paddles: The Only Guide You Need Before Buying Another Paddle” post), but the ones that are affiliate page are not (ex. like the one you shared a link to).
I’m just trying to establish a pattern…
To ask again… How is the Amazon affiliate content populating the pages? I’m leaning towards that has something to do with it because another user has an issue where the content was actually begin fed from an API. They needed to change the API feed to encode html entities (if I remember correctly).
The product images are coming from Ninja Tables Pro while the Pros and Cons are coming from JoomDev WP Pros & Cons plugin.
I am not using any affiliate plugin which requires some sort of API.
Also it was working perfectly fine till 15th of April….Then I think your plugin got an update after 15th April which i did…May be that caused some issue?
How are the Amazon links in the heading being added?
Manually through WordPress Classic Editor.
Thanks! Now I have a much clearer picture.
One pattern I do see is on the posts where the ezTOC is inserted, they have a heading which is not an Amazon link. Just a regular heading.
On a post which does not currently work, could you add a heading before all of the Amazon link headings?
Example, this post “Pickleball Paddles: The Only Guide You Need Before Buying Another Paddle” has an initial heading “Things to Know When Buying a Pickleball Paddle” which is not a link. Try the same with the “Top 10 Graphite Pickleball Paddles” post.
Thank you Steven.
It finally worked and the issue has been resolved.
I appreciate your precious time for solving the issue.
You can now close this thread.
Thanks again.

Thanks great to hear! Not sure why you have to have a none linked heading as the initial heading though. I tried to duplicate one of your pages and it worked fine for me.
