Plugin not working properly

    Hello,
    I’ve installed the plugin and tried both the shortcode and the HTML version to open a link but I got an error – the popup window is indeed opened but also the link follows the URL and my page is directed to the other website, just like I would use the command target=_top. Please let me know what’s the issue.

    Which theme are you using on your site, where did you obtain it, and have you edited the footer.php?

    Please provide a link to a page on your site where I can see this issue – preferably a page with both the shortcode and the html link, and. Please also list the exact shortcode and/or html link you used on that page.

    The issue you describe suggests that the plugin’s popup.js script has not been included on the page. If this is the case, this occurs when the theme does not include the mandatory wp-footer hook which should be seen just before the the closing body tag – usually in the theme’s footer.php. If your theme does not contain that hook, plugins will not be able to enqueue scripts, so the hook should be added.
