Plugin not working with Answers Theme

    Hi,

    I’m using the Answers Theme and a demo page is shown here – https://demo.templatic.com/answers/why-am-i-created-like-this-flat-and-skinny/.

    If you scroll to the bottom of that demo page, you will see what the answers box looks like. When I activated the plugin on my own site, it still looks like the demo example and no option to upload images etc.

    Is there a reason the plugin wouldn’t work with this theme? If so, do you know what I need to do to make it work please?

    Hello @heyhi123,

    Unfortunately, this is a paid theme, and I can’t download it and try to figure it out 🙁 .

    As far as I can see, the seller provides 1 year of theme support. Please try to contact them. Perhaps they can advise something.

    The theme creator got back to me and said I can provide you with the theme zip file to allow you to check. Would that be OK with you?

    I used the form and attached the Answers theme zip file, but it said “You are not allowed to upload files of this type.”

    DCO Comment Attachment uses the comment_form_submit_field filter to display the attachment field, but this theme don’t use it.

    You need to replace
    <input name="submit" type="submit" id="submit" class="<?php if ( $user_ID ) { echo 'spacer';} ?>" value="Submit" />
    with

    <?php 
$css_class = $user_ID ? 'spacer' : '';
echo apply_filters( 'comment_form_submit_field', '<input name="submit" type="submit" id="submit" class="' . $css_class . '" value="Submit" />' ); 
?>

    in comments.php file in Answers theme folder.
