Hi Pandur,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I have tested on my WordPress 4.1 test site using latest version of custom sidebars plugin (v. 2.1.0.1) and the latest version of following Google Analytics by Yost (v. 5.2.8) plugin.
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/
I found it’s working fine without any issue.
Is there any specific Google Analytics plugin setting that is causing this issue?
Activating Google Analytics by Yost your plugin does not work longer.
Do you mean it’s displaying the Custom Sidebars options in the widgets screen in the admin area and the options work fine but the custom sidebar doesn’t display in the front end?
Is this happening with specific post/page or with all?
The error occurs with WordPress 4.0.1 and 4.1 (just updated to 4.1).
Are you getting any error message?
If yes then please share it here by copy pasting it so that i can troubleshoot the issue.
Kind Regards,

Hi Vinod,
thank you very much for your support.
Is there any specific Google Analytics plugin setting that is causing this issue?
No, not that I am aware of. Your plugin is used with standard configurations.
Do you mean it’s displaying the Custom Sidebars options in the widgets screen in the admin area and the options work fine but the custom sidebar doesn’t display in the front end?
Exactly. The Custom Sidbars options are displayed in the backend, but ignored in the frontend.
Are you getting any error message?
No, there are no errors shown in the frontend. There is even a sidebar shown in the frontend, but not the one I defined in the backend. It seems the frontend falls back to a standard sidbar, which is diffrent to the one I defined.
Meanwhile I found out that the problem seems to be connected with the theme. The theme I do use is “Point” (v. 1.2.2) from MyThemeShop. Switching to “Twenty Fourteen” all plugins work fine again.
Kind regards,
Pandur
Hello , i have exactly same problem as Pandur, my theme is: BresponZive.
For some reasons when Custom Sidebars and Google Analytics are both active , Custom Sidebars is not showing in the website,in the widget area is active and i can select which custom sidebar i want to use post/pages, after that nothing happens.
Check first if the webpage itself has a sidebar without the Custom Sidebars plugin. If the theme you’re using doesn’t support sidebars (for the entire site or even for that single page only), then Custom Sidebars won’t work with it. The plugin replaces sidebars, it doesn’t change the layout of your side to create them.
I’ve tested Google Analytics by Yoast and it works fine

Both plugins were working perfectly but after the last update of Google Analytics by Yoast i got the problem …
Hi Pandur,
Glad you could find out that this is the theme conflict issue with the theme “Point” (v. 1.2.2) from MyThemeShop.
I have tested it on my test site using latest version of the following Point theme & Google Analytics by Yoast and could reproduce the issue.

I have notified the plugin developer about this issue so that he can troubleshoot it and find out why it’s happening.
In the meanwhile to resolve the issue try using older version of Google Analytics by Yoast plugin by downloading it from the following page.

Hi @fixator,
Are you using the following theme?
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/bresponzive
Have you tested for the theme conflict on your site by temporarily using the default WordPress theme?
You can just try on your development site using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.
