[Plugin: OptionTree] memorizing option tabs after save

I’ve a task that requires modification of OptionTree plugin (loaded by TGM) in a premium theme. The issue is that after saving theme options, plugin goes back to the first option tab and I want it to go back to the last opened tab. It’s just adding section name in url like :

themes.php?page=ot-theme-options&settings-updated=true#section_sidebars_settings

Can anyone tell me is it possible without modifying plugin files? It suppose to be premium theme so I won’t have access to the plugin files itself and if that’s ok with plugin author?
