[Plugin: OSE Firewall™] E-mail alert whois.domaintools.com

This is interesting – whois.domaintools.com has been hardcoded into the plugin – scan.php
QUESTION: Will blocking whois.domaintools.com referrals/pings prevent the plugin working? – it doesn’t look as if it will and I have done so.

I noticed e-mails with this domain sent by the plugin – shortly after updating or posting content. From the IP’s included in the report I would say it’s users of the domaintools.com toolbar and monitoring the sites that are getting pings from my sites when content is updated…
