[Plugin: Permalink Editor] DB Queries

    The plugin works great, but i have a question about the DB queries. When i deactivate the plugin, my blog says [The DB used 100 queries loaded in 0.863 seconds]. When i activate the permalink-editor plugin, my blog says [The DB used 195 queries loaded in 8.031 seconds]. So when i activate the plugin my site loads slower on [index]. Single post and pages are still loading in 0.8 sec. Is there a way to solve this issue with the dubble DB queries on index ?

    Hi,

    There are a number of areas for optimisation to be added, and cutting down on the number of queries is one of them.

    Next time I get the chance to take a look and review some of the code this will be taken into consideration.

    Unfortunately there is no current time scale for this.
