  • TomGCCC, can you provide me a link to your Podcasting feed? What version are you using? I fixed some validation issues in 2.0 beta (which is stable, just not feature complete). You can download that here: http://cavemonkey50.com/code/podcasting/

Thanks, cavemonkey. I actually thought I did send that link, but it disappeared either into the Internet twilight or into my own carelessness.

    Here it is:

Something else has disappeared from last night’s post, too. The way my blog is structured (http://www.thinkingchristian.net), I thought the feed would probably show up at /feed/podcast/ , but it isn’t…

That’s not a big problem to me, but I thought it might be useful information for you.

Looking over your feed, the blank line you’re experiencing is coming from somewhere in WordPress. Both Podcasting and podPress use WordPress’ feed generation, so that would explain the problem occurring with both plugins.

I would follow this guide and see if you can figure out which file has the blank line. That should get your feed back up and running.

Regarding the URL structure, the structure is based off your permalink settings. If you’re using pretty permalinks you’ll have the nicer /feed/podcast/ URL structure.

I just checked your site regarding permalinks. I see what you mean now. I would go into your permalink settings and click update (you don’t have to change anything). Then, even if Podcasting tells you to use the other URL, /feed/podcast/ should work.
